Joie de Beads now has a new home. As the result of a very successful relationship with the Falls Church shop Stifel & Capra, I have finally opened my very own working studio and boutique. Theresa Wells Stifel has moved and expanded her business, which is now The Shops & Studios at Stifel & Capra. The new location has working studios and gallery spaces upstairs, and the main floor is filled with local art and vintage collectibles. Joie de Beads is also on the main floor, just to the left inside the front door. If you have ever shopped for antiques in Falls Church, it is the two-story Victorian house that previously housed the antique dealers. I am very happy to be part of this exciting venture.
The Shops & Studios at Stifel & Capra and Joie de Beads Studio & Boutique are now officially open for business, from 10:00 to 2:00 Monday through Saturday. Please stop by and visit us! I will be there most days, but especially Monday - Thursday. Fridays and Saturdays I will be available by appointment. Purchases may be made any time through the central counter, which serves all of the artists and shops.
The official opening will be the First Friday celebration on April 3rd and 4th.
