Basic Beading For Beginners 13 & up
Learn the basic techniques for making your own unique jewelry. Using simple tools and quality materials, you will string and finish your own beaded necklace, bracelet, and matching earrings. At the beginning of class, you will have an opportunity to choose from a selection of semi-precious gemstone beads, art glass beads, crystal beads, freshwater pearls, and sterling silver components to create a set that is just right for you! More Beading Techniques 13 & up
Building on the techniques learned in Basic Beading, you will learn how to work with materials such as leather cord, organza ribbon, and simple wire wrapping techniques. You will make a simple pendant and cord combination, as well as a festive multi-strand bracelet with dangling beads, and earrings, using the same components listed in the Basic Beading class description. You will have an opportunity to choose some of your beads at the beginning of class. Projects not finished in class can be completed at home. Please bring any tools that you have.
